The tales of the Nevercity
The Tales of the Nevercity is a planned 7 part series that takes places in an alternative Britain. I have the entire series scripts either finished or in near complete stages, but as I don’t want to give too much away, I will only be putting up information for future instalments once the previous has been released. In 1666, the great fire of London set ablaze the city, but in this timeline the fires raged out of control taking with it most of the city. From these ashes a new city was built; New London. the name simple as it is, rallied its residents to rebuild, and at the heart of it all a new company emerged. The MetaCog. Created by the country’s leading engineers, draftsmen, architects, artists and persons of skill, they became the Metaphysical Cogs that would work together to rebuild from the foundations up the Most amazing city the world had ever seen.
Although often is the way, best and noble intentions often mask something underneath. upon completing the new city, the MetaCog were left with a void of power, a void in which the government were increasingly aware of. It started with small acts of rebellion, messages left on walls crudely bashing the government and enforcing the MetaCog. Followed by whispers of secret meetings in ways to overthrow those that were no use in aiding the countries loss,
When The MetaCog ceased power, you will hear that they had no resistance, but when you are the most powerful ruling body in the world. you will only read, what they want you to read.
The Series is based in the time period of the 1870's onwards. Chronicling the rise of The MetaCog’s golden era in design and creativity, a shining beacon for all too see, while below the surface events of a cataclysmic nature are brewing, as a madness has rooted itself deeply in to the heart of the country.
